The Solidarity Canteen SEPTEMBER 2020
In response to the Covid-19 pandemic and the resultant unemployment and financial hardships faced by those with limited financial resources, The Solidarity Canteen was set up in Luang Prabang by building upon the excess capacity and goodwill of the hospitality sector to offer free meals to the poor and needy. The BBGL was proud to be able to offer a platform to share this initiative and directly raised over 1 000 000 kip by holding a networking event in September 2020.
